Daphne Johnson is the Chief Program Officer of the Chicago Park District is responsible for the Community Recreation Department which focuses on the Park District's core mission of providing high-quality recreation and leisure opportunities to Chicago residents and visitors. The Community Recreation Department offers programs throughout the life course in athletics, aquatics, cultural arts, special events, general recreation, and environmental programming. Programs are offered city-wide within the South, Central, and North Regions.
