RiverLab: Summer Solstice Paddle at River

Description

This year, we are celebrating the Summer Solstice out on the Chicago River. Come out with us for a leisurely canoe trip, as we watch the sunset. This will be the latest the sun will set this year, so why not watch it in the company of River Park's beautiful natural landscape? Remember to wear comfortable clothing, and to bring water and sunscreen. Your registration fee covers rental of all equipment plus instruction. Based at the River Park Boathouse, the Chicago Park District's RiverLab program is a series of educational events and activities dedicated to reconnecting residents of Chicago with their river. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
