RiverLab: River Ecology Paddle at River

Description

Join us for our River Ecology tour, where you will learn about the history and natural ecology of the Chicago River. We will canoe down the North Branch of the Chicago River, where we will discuss fun facts about the species we spot during our paddle, as well as what local organizations are doing to protect these species. Remember to wear comfortable clothing, and to bring water and sunscreen. Your registration fee covers rental of all equipment plus instruction. Based at the River Park Boathouse, the Chicago Park District's RiverLab program is a series of educational events and activities dedicated to reconnecting residents of Chicago with their river. Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
