The Chicago Park District invites anyone hoping to host an event at a park facility to visit our website and prepare to fill out the application. Whether it’s a grand gala under the stars, a 5K in the parks, a garden gathering, or the perfect birthday or retirement party in a historic park building or space, you can find the ideal space within the Chicago Park District’s 8,800 acres of parkland.
A processing fee of $35 is required for each application along with a site plan. Additional permit fees will be due after the date and location have been secured. The application review process takes a minimum of 14 days. Some applications may require additional review by City of Chicago Departments.
